Aneesa Addarich is from Yonkers, New York, and graduated from Binghamton University in 2021 with a degree in Human Development and minor in Immigration Studies. Most recently she completed a service year with Americorps National Civilian Community Corps as a Team Leader where she led projects such as building affordable homes, working at food banks, maintaining trails, and farming. She credits Americorps NCCC for developing her leadership skills and opening her eyes to the beauty of the outdoors, which sparked her interest in the National Park Service. She chose to participate in the CVA program because it will provide her with the unique opportunity to work at a national park in a position that perfectly combines her interests of service, the outdoors, and volunteer coordination. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, hiking, and finding new music to listen to. She looks forward to engaging with current volunteers and recruiting new volunteers into Muir Woods and the Marin Headlands!
