Cami Miller

Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Cami grew up in Akron, Ohio. She graduated from the College of Wooster in 2020 with a B.A. in Anthropology and a minor in Spanish. During her time in college, Cami spent as much time as possible immersing herself in other cultures spending a summer in Siena, Italy, and a semester in Granada, Spain. She was also a captain on the volleyball team. In the summer of 2019, Cami interned for Cuyahoga Valley National Park and worked with the Community Engagement team helping to bring park resources to inner-city children. Following that summer, Cami became very passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion in the park service and spent her senior year writing a thesis titled, “Parks for the People: A comparative analysis of diversity engagement between Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Yosemite National Park”. Following graduation, she became a park ranger at Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and she will be returning here for her third year with Cuyahoga Valley as the Community Volunteer Ambassador
