Hot Springs National Park
Celeste Morales is from Oakland, California. She is excited to gain valuable skills such as coordinating park-wide events, enhancing community engagement, and managing volunteers in celebration of the park centennial year. She is currently pursuing a B.S. Degree in Recreation Management with a concentration in Youth Programming Development at California State University, East Bay. Celeste dedicated her college experience to working in her city's local recreation department. Through her experience, Celeste learned that she has a passion to strengthen the community in which she has grown up and can do so through parks and recreation. Celeste wants to be able to share with not just her neighbors but with all of those who are unaware of the multiple benefits that come with visiting your local parks. Her goal is to provide the public the knowledge that learning goes beyond the four walls of the classroom and nature should be explored by all. As the 2021 CVA at Hot Springs NP, Celeste will truly get the opportunity to continue guiding a broad spectrum of society by giving those a voice to play and learn.
