Christine Longenecker
Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and Rainbow Bridge National Monument
September 2022
Christine is an animal-loving, tea-drinking, outdoor enthusiast from California. She graduated from California Baptist University with an undergraduate degree in International Studies. Her interests are in global cultures, non-profit work, public policy, the Russian and Ukrainian languages, bird watching, hiking, and water conservation, specifically relating to the Colorado River!
Growing up in such a biodiverse environment as Southern California, Christine developed a passion for outdoor conservation and stewardship in places such as the Coachella Valley, Mojave Desert, San Bernardino Mountains, and the California coast. She hopes to gain firsthand experience in volunteer engagement and understanding in how the National Park System functions and partners with outside agencies to serve the public through education and conservation efforts.
