Darby Pak

Manzanar National historic Site

Darby Pak is a Los Angeles local, with a deep love for learning and educating others. While in college she discovered a deep appreciation for history and pursued a degree in History with a minor in East Asian Studies. Through her classes she focused in on post-colonial theory, as well as the history of the U.S and Japan during World War II. She worked as an Education in Action facilitator her last semester in college, working with a professor to help students take what they learn outside the classroom and into the community. Now as the Community Volunteer Ambassador for Manzanar National Historic Site, she is excited and honored to continue the remembrance of this important part of history.
