Grace Whitfield

Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park

February 2023

Grace has had a diverse work background, most recently coming from bartending in Richmond, Virginia, and before that Grace spent about 5 months doing trail work in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She bounced around a lot growing up but is originally from Texas and still loves the heat and inherently doesn't trust the snow, so Vermont seemed like the perfect fit! Grace was studying Anthropology at Virginia Commonwealth University before deciding to take some time off to get some real world experience. In my free time, she loves to swim, rock climb, camp, run, play tennis (quite horribly but she'd like to think Serena Williams is still proud of me for trying) and read anything and everything, although Grace has since had to retire the entire genre of horror after moving into a very old house in the woods. Grace is so excited to be starting as the Community Volunteer Ambassador at Marsh-Billings and look forward to learning about a new area and fully immersing myself in this community!
