Jady Kralovic

Rock Creek Park

September 2022

Jady has lived in eight states all over the US and briefly in South Korea, but considers Arizona her home where she returned for college. She graduated in May 2022 from Northern Arizona University with a B.S. in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. While at NAU Jady got involved with the Community Engagement program and worked on projects related to affordable housing, composting, university divestment, and public transportation, in collaboration with local organizations that emphasized the importance of engaging at a local level. Besides her educational experience, from living in so many different places she came to understand and appreciate the importance of public spaces that connect and root communities, like National Parks which has led her to pursue roles where she can facilitate that connection and foster positivity. From living in other cities and having limited access to outdoor space - Jady is especially excited to work at a urban park such as Rock Creek Park and contribute to connecting the community to their very unique park. In her free time Jady likes to hike with her dog Winston and crochet while listening to audiobooks or Taylor Swift.
