Katy is from southern West Virginia, growing up next to the New River. She graduated from West Virginia University with a BA in Anthropology, and is currently serving as a CVA in her hometown at the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve. She is hoping to strengthen her communities to her park, in both volunteer and cultural aspects.

In her free time, Katy can be found watching Bob's Burgers, or any true crime doc, crocheting, or traveling!

She is eternally grateful for the opportunity to support volunteer connections at her park, and hopes to leave a lasting legacy as a CVA at New River.
