Megan DeMarois

President's Park

Megan was born and raised in Metro Detroit. She always had an affinity for American history and would
go on to major in History at Hunter College in NYC. During her time there she worked at the Ellis Island
Immigration Museum where her love for the NPS first blossomed. After graduating she took a historic
preservation role with the National Parks of Boston. However, due to Covid couldn't finish out her
program year. She then moved to DC in hopes of working with museums or within the NPS. Now she
will get the best of both worlds and will be serving as a CVA at President's Park. She is excited to learn
and explore all that President's Park has to offer and work with volunteers. In her free time when she's
not babysitting her adorable nephew, she is out enjoying DC and discovering new restaurants and
museums.
