Oceana Songsong

American Memorial Park

Oceana was born and raised on the island of Saipan, located in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. She's always had a love for the outdoors and spends most of her weekends hiking, at the beach, or working with animals. She grew up right next to the local zoo, where she was able to help care for the indigenous and exotic animals that were showcased there. During high school and into college, Oceana was also able to intern at the CNMI Historic Preservation Office, where she found her passion for history and archaeology. She attended University of Hawaii at Hilo where she studied Anthropology. As of today, Oceana is happily married and is a mother to 2 year old Atlas Cole. She is very excited to be part of the American Memorial Park, where she will be establishing and expanding the Volunteer Program and developing new volunteer opportunities for the Park and CNMI community.
