Paul Kennedy

Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area

Paul is very excited to be the CVA at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Growing up in Boise, Idaho, Paul developed an intense love of nature and took great pleasure hiking through the mountains of central Idaho with friends and family. He left Idaho to go to Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where he majored in Urban Studies. Throughout college and high school, Paul worked summers with different conservation corps, often through AmeriCorps, building and repairing hiking trails in Colorado and Maine. since graduating from college Paul has had a range of experiences, from interning at a Buddhist monastery to working housekeeping at Yellowstone National Park. He is beyond excited to be settling down for a year besides the lovely Delaware River, and hopes to make many connections and friendships in this rich and varied part of the world.
