Sarah Sherwood

Indiana Dunes National Park

Sarah Sherwood is a Cape Cod, Massachusetts native and Indiana Dunes National Park newcomer. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2018 with degrees in Mathematical Sciences and Psychology and a minor in Statistics. In 2019 she served as an Interpretive Ranger with the New Hampshire Conservation Corps through the Student Conservation Association, AmeriCorps, and New Hampshire State Parks. She also served with the Student Conservation Association in 2017 as the Visitor Center and Conservation Intern at Sullys Hill National Game Preserve in Devils Lake, North Dakota. Sarah is passionate about sustainability, community involvement, interpretation and education, and outdoor recreation. When she's off the clock, she loves spending time outside any way she can, be it skiing, hiking, swimming, or just enjoying a good read. On her mission to visit every National Park, Indiana Dunes is park #23!
