Sydney Mentrup

Washington, D.C. Support Office (WASO)

Sydney Mentrup began her service with the National Parks Service in 2016. Beginning as a Centennial Volunteer Ambassador at Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve, she found a passion for environmental education and community outreach. After completing her term, she served as an Interpretation Intern at Colonial National Historical Park in 2017 and in 2018, was the Community Volunteer Ambassador for Golden Gate National Recreation Area. She is now proud and excited to serve as the Community Ambassador Leader based out of the Washington D.C. Support Office for the 2020 class.
