Tarra Nieman

Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site

Tarra Nieman, is the new Community Volunteer Ambassador for the Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site. She was born in Monroe, Michigan and studied at Northern Michigan University. Where she got Bachelor of Science specializing in outdoor recreation leadership and management. She also just completed an internship at Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument in Sliver city, New Mexico. Her hobbies include hiking, downhill skiing, trail running, and painting. She hoping to leave her mark here by expanding the volunteer program and creating new connections in the community.
