Thea Jackson

National Parks of Boston

Thea grew up in Texas. She attended the University of Arkansas and graduated May of 2020 with a BS in Geology. In the Fall of 2020, she started a five-month internship through Conservation Legacy at Hot Springs National Park as the Natural Resource Analyst. Whilst where, she monitored the thermal waters. After studying natural resources, exploring the cultural history, and engaging with the community at Hot Springs National Park, she decided she would like to continue working alongside both Conservation Legacy and the National Park Service. Thea is now the Community Volunteer Ambassador with the National Parks of Boston, where she is hoping to engage youth and the wider Boston community by developing and assisting in volunteer programs. Thea hopes that the people she engages with are as excited as she is by the wonders the National Parks have to offer.
