Ticika Dominick

Mesa Verde National Park

Ticika Dominick was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest in Washington state. She grew up with extensive time in the outdoors, sometimes spending more than a month at a time on camping trips in Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. She received her B.S. in Environmental Science with a minor in Education & Social Justice from Western Washington University. While there she worked as the first ever Environmental Justice Coordinator for Associated Students, laying the way for more equitable practices within the organization. She simultaneously gave guided beach tours as a lab assistant for Shannon Point Marine Center and volunteered as a Youth Educator at Whatcom Conservation District. After recently completing an AmeriCorps position with Olympic National Park as an Education & Outreach intern, Ticika is excited to start at Mesa Verde National Park. She hopes to expand and update the community outreach and education opportunities while fulfilling her duties as a Community Volunteer Ambassador.
