Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park
Tori Ramirez is from Pomona, California. She became passionate about protecting people and the
environment after learning about the environmental injustices that were occurring within her
community. Invested in combating environmental injustices in her community and communities with
similar narratives, she attended Pitzer College where she studied Environmental Policy and Sociology.
In 2021, Tori served as the CVA for Glen Canyon National Recreation Area in Arizona. She greatly
enjoyed working with the volunteers, learning from her co-workers, and exploring the beautiful area. Tori
is excited to continue her work as a CVA for Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks where she will
continue to protect the integrity and beauty of the park while building meaningful connections with
volunteers, local communities, and youth. Aside from protecting green spaces and working with people,
Victoria enjoys running, embroidering, and playing with her cat, Kakashi.
