Helen Dhue is from Oakton, Virginia, and studied History at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She had her first experience with the Park Service as an intern at Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park. She stayed on as a volunteer on Saturdays during her senior year of college. She just finished her first season as a Park Ranger at Gulf Islands National Seashore and enjoys reading, hiking, running, and learning. She looks forward to the opportunity to connect the public with the park!
