Nin is from Jackson Mississippi. She graduated from Jackson State University with a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design. Throughout college she worked with AmeriCorps as a tutor at Stew Pot working with the kids in the after-school program. She also was in AmeriCorps/FEMACorps NCCC after taking a year off of school. After graduating she took internship with JSU as a graphic designer. There, she discovered what her next step was after attending an informational meeting about becoming a park ranger. Although she has done many things, Nin always had an interest in volunteering and being pushed to learn more about her community and history. Nin hopes bring this excitement to her new role as a CVA Intern and future leader. She also hopes to be seen as a positive role model. Not only for younger girls following the same steps as her but also for little girls like her sister. Nin enjoys her free time, board games, and her sister. She enjoys learning about the world but has a sudden interest in herbs, and juicing. She hopes to soon get her soap business back up and running.
