Jonathon Ahl is a recent college graduate living in Middletown, New Jersey. He earned a bachelor's degree from Franklin & Marshall College and aspires to a career in Public History. He's currently serving at Gateway National Recreation Area - Jamaica Bay Unit, where he endeavors to educate visitors in both the natural and industrial history which served as the foundation for the park. His service projects will include working with the NYC Plover Project to protect the endangered Piping Plover bird species which makes Gateway its migratory home each spring/summer.
