Abby Cook

Alaska Public Lands Information Center

Fall 2024

Abby is originally from the Pacific Northwest, where her work in conservation began with a youth corps session in Wenatchee National Forest. She spent this past summer in a Conservation Legacy internship at Great Sand Dunes in Colorado, and is excited to spend a year in the great state of Alaska! Other passions of hers include roller skating, hiking, espresso, Bigfoot, and urban studies. Throughout her CVA term, Abby hopes to build relationships with communities in and around Anchorage and explore the Alaska Region's many National Park sites. She also hopes to learn to fish.
