Baylee Bales-Woods is the National Community Volunteer Ambassador Leader (CVAL) for the September 2023 CVA Cohort. She is serving out of the U.S. Territory, Guam where she was previously the CVA for the War in the Pacific National Historical Park. Baylee graduated from the University of Guam with her Bachelors in Anthropology and a minor in Biology, she plans to continue pursuing her goal of building a career within the National Park Service. She is ready for this new opportunity as the CVAL and looks forward to being a part of a team that strives to positively impact the communities and partners connected to the WASO Volunteer-in-Parks program. When Baylee is not working, she enjoys hiking, snorkeling/SCUBA, reading, and spending downtime with her partner and three fur baby pups.
