Corrine Hinton

Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River

Fall 2024

Corrine is a Conservation Legacy AmeriCorps member serving a second term as a Community Volunteer Ambassador with Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River. A 2021 graduate from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania, Corrine pursued a degree in environmental studies with a minor in park and recreation management.
During the summer of 2022, Corrine was a park ranger intern at Upper Delaware S&RR, where she was selected to receive a UDC recreation award after creating a series of six water safety infographic posters for the park. Following that internship, Corrine served with AmeriCorps at CSU Spur, in Denver Colorado, where she became a certified environmental educator while creating and facilitating onsite and outreach education on topics surrounding food, water and animal health for multigenerational audiences.
In her free time, Corrine is a professional mermaid performer, where she's gained most of her valuable experience with children and enjoys all things Disney and national parks. As a third year AmeriCorps member, Corrine is eager to use this time to advance ideas and projects started in her previous term, continuing to encourage people to get involved in protecting Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River for generations to come.
