Edith Lopez

Yosemite National Park

Fall 2024

Edith is a Southern California native who grew up in Pomona, California and has grown a love for the Central Valley and Sierra Nevada Regions of California. She graduated from the University of California, Merced in May 2024 with a B.A. in Sociology and minors in Economics and Community Research and Service. She has previously been part of the Yosemite Leadership Program Summer Internship as the Recruitment and Retention Intern and is now serving as the Community Volunteer Ambassador for Yosemite National Park. Edith is excited to connect with communities within and around Yosemite, and work with the volunteers who make the National Park Service’s work possible! In her free time, she loves hiking, drawing, baking, and spending time with her friends.
