Juan Pablo Esparza-Limon
Washington Support Office - CVA Leader
Fall 2024
Juan Pablo will serve as the Community Volunteer Ambassador (CVA) Leader for the 2024 Fall CVA Cohort! His passion for conservation through volunteerism began during his two terms as a CVA at Dinosaur National Monument. During this time, he assisted volunteers in various projects, from helping set up telescopes for night sky programs to navigating the white-water rapids of the Green River in the backcountry. Juan Pablo enjoyed teaming up with a diverse group of volunteers and contributing to the National Park Service mission.
As a CVA Leader, Juan Pablo is excited to support the Volunteers-In-Parks program at a larger scale and is eager to learn from new and returning CVAs! Ultimately, he hopes to extend the accessibility of the National Park Service to those who have not explored the park system and empower others to make their own memorable volunteering memories.
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Juan Pablo attended Southern Methodist University, where he majored in Earth Sciences with a Specialization in Geology. In his spare time, he enjoys trying different food trucks, supporting monarch butterflies, and collecting patches at national park sites.
