Katie is from southwest Ohio and is a 2023 graduate of Miami University (OH). She earned a B.A. in Theatre and Arts Management with minors in History and Marketing. A lifelong lover of the outdoors and the NPS's mission to preserve and protect our nation's natural and cultural resources for future generations, Katie is excited to put the organizational and people skills she gained in pursuit of her theatre degree to work as she connects with Capitol Reef National Park's volunteers. Katie believes the outdoors are for everyone and during her time at Capitol Reef, she looks forward to engaging all members of her new community in the recreation opportunities in their backyards.
