Samuel Romesburg was born and raised in East Tennessee right in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. He recently graduated from Lee University in May of 2023 with a major in History and a minor in Criminal Justice. He is very excited to be back in the Smokies working in the area he grew up in and being a part in helping to maintain it. He hopes to gain a better understanding of how the NPS system is run. Ideally, he would like to work towards becoming an interpretive park ranger at a historic site. He enjoys being outdoors, hiking, camping, and caving.
