Tatum Monroe
WASO Office - CVA Leader
Winter 2024
Tatum Monroe is proud to serve as the National Community Volunteer Ambassador Leader (CVAL) for the February 2023 CVA Cohort. She is serving from Central Arkansas, where she formerly held the honor of serving as the CVA at Hot Springs National Park. Tatum is excited to continue her role of connecting the public to the National Park Service through volunteerism. Her own journey as a volunteer began at the University of Georgia. Where she volunteered at UGArden, a student-run organic farm, until her graduation. The experience planted the seeds of her commitment to engaging communities through service-learning projects. Following her passion has led to life-changing experiences in the PeaceCorps and the AmeriCorps. She is excited to share her knowledge on a larger scale, while learning from team members every step of the way. Work-life balance is an integral part of her creative practice. So, to recharge her social battery, Tatum enjoys spending time with her partner while tending to their organic garden, cooking international comfort food with fresh produce, and cuddling her cats while reading a good book.
