Tyler is from New Jersey. He graduated from Montclair State University with a bachelor's degree in history. He was briefly employed in a public school, then as a park ranger with the National Park Service. Currently, he is serving at Whiskeytown National Creation Area as a Community Volunteer Ambassador. Tyler hopes to perform a variety of different work to develop relevant professional skills to and find his place in the National Park Service.
